I am no longer a dirty old man. You need to know that my definition of a dirty old man is a man with a wife, 3 teenaged daughters, and one bathroom. We now have no daughters at home and two bathrooms, so I have it made! I never made an issue out of the time that the girls spent in front of the mirror. I just told each of them that I did not care how long they spent in front of the mirror. Just to be sure and do a good job and groom yourself to be what you can be. The only thing that I would ask is that for every minute that they spent in front of the bathroom mirror that they need to spend a minute in front of another mirror. James 1:22 compares the word of God to a mirror. We need to spend what ever time is needed in the Word to groom the inner person until we become all we can be. So my rule was equal time; spend all the time you want in the bathroom, but spend at least equal time grooming the inner woman, and you will be beautiful. It worked—I have three of the most beautiful daughters you could imagine—all raised by a dirty old Man :? . I recommend that you might consider the equal time rule as a New Years Resolution. Have a good Sunday mornin' and a great new year too
