Daylight savings is the most ludicrous idea I've heard of. What fool thinks he can cut a foot of one end of a rope and tie it to the other and make it longer? We have so much daylight, and that is it, then it's dark. God said in Noah's time that He would not strive with man forever. He then gave 120 years to repent, then the flood. Nothing has changed except the length of time. This is the day in which we have to repent and accept Him as savior. That time will end, and I know not when, but after that it will be too late. It is daylight now; the dark is coming, when it will be too late. Have you accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord? You really need to do that, and then you can have a good Sunday mornin', and a great forever.

Amen

In Saskatchewan we don't change time, We are the same as Montana in the summer and North Dakota in the winter. I hate it when I am in Plentywood in December and it's almost dark at 3;30 in the afternoon. Poor kids.

We do have some wanting to change time.

Strongly agree there Shortgrass. You ain't supposed to vent and preach at the same time. VERY good analogy though.

I could not agree more! Maybe we pay too much attention to what a clock says, but you have to keep track somehow. I guess there are worse self-inflicted adjustments in life, but I can't think of any more nagging...
Good Sunday morning to all. Spring is coming, someday...

Thanks, Shortgrass.

As most of you know, I am a camera bug. Last night I tried to download my daily dose of pictures, and my normal procedures did not work. This morning, the same problem is at hand. When the camera is plugged into the computer, this little notice pops up:

"USB Device Not Recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it.

For assistance in solving this problem, click the message."

It is a pretty lonesome feeling having my plea to download photographs be rejected. How much more so this lonesome feeling would be if I died and my plea to get into Heaven was rejected. Here is how the pop-up message might read in that case:

"USB Device Not Recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this person has malfunctioned and Heaven does not recognize it.

For assistance in solving this problem, click the message found in God's Holy Word, the Bible."

Yep MYTF, that's probably the closest we'll ever see our mild mannered Shortgrass give us a "in your face" fire and brimstone sermon!

The concept of time and wealth as man understands them doesn't mean much to God. Reminds me of this.

A guy is having a conversation with God. God tells the man that to Him, a penny is as a million dollars. And a minute is as a million years.

The guy thinks about that a bit and then asks, "God, can I have a penny?" God says, "In a minute."

At that point pleading ignorance won't cut it because the Word has been there for us to learn the truth about God's word.

Thanks for the message Shortgrass :D

By that time the message will read. Too late to go to the owners manual now. You had all sorts of time to read it.

Sometimes the owners manual seem a little Greek, though. Kinda wish I had learned Hebrew and Greek.
