Happy New Year! It is the time of year for New Year's resolutions. It is rare that New Years resolutions are actually kept. A New Years resolution is more of a statement of what we think that we would like to be than it is of what we intend to be. If there is something that we actually are going to change in our lives, it usually happens immediately, and not on January 1st. Each new day is a new opportunity. A chance to change exists at all times. God is a God of second chances, and many, many chances to serve Him. I wonder how many times a day we have a chance to serve, and are completely oblivious to it? We need to walk circumspectly. There is one thing that we only get one chance at, and that is life itself. One chance to live your life, so be careful to make it count! God Bless each of you, and have yourselves a good Sunday mornin', and a mighty fine 2010.
