Good Sunday Mornin"

Recently, on a thread, I made the observation that my Charolais cattle were as hard to find in the fog as black cattle were at night. Sure enough, this week we had a couple of foggy mornings. As if to prove a point, I was looking for the cattle without much luck, when I turned around, and one of them was close enough to touch! Scared me to death, and I ain't scared of nuthin'! This illustrates some experiences I have had in my walk with the Lord. I have not been able to feel like He was anywhere near, no matter how hard I looked, but He was right there beside me. I just couldn't see Him because other stuff, like the fog, was in the way. He is near enough to touch me, but I can't see Him. Shouldn't be that way. Well have yourselves a good Sunday mornin', and a great rest of the week too.

Thanks Shortgrass. Your post today reminds me of the author unknown "Footprints Prayer". I could not remember just how it goes but I found a link with the text here. http://www.clintonfranciscans.com/footprints%20prayer.htm

Thanks, Shortgrass. Nice morning today with the sun shining, two inches of rain to dump out of the guage from the past three days, and the temperature last night only got as low as 36 degrees. Spring is springing, and God's handiwork is in evidence everywhere. :-)

Inch of rain here on Friday while I went to the grass cattle sale at Ft Pierre. 30 degrees at sunrise today. God's handiwork is especially beautiful in springtime. Was nice to see all the new calves, green grass, and full dams and lakebeds on the way. Dusty when I got to Ft Pierre but the rain caught up while I was there. The rain put everyone in the sale barn in a good mood. Not so sure about the yard help working outside in the rain.
