Good Sunday Mornin'

Look at your hand……..4 fingers and a thumb, right? Not me! I have three fingers on my right hand. It would seem that a finger is not very big, and there are three others, so one of them would not really be missed that much…………wrong. I have been without the long finger on my right hand for 40 years. I have learned to manage very well without it, but I still miss it because my grip just isn't there. The Lord says that the Church is His body, and that each one of us is pretty important. We are all different, with a variety of talents and abilities. Some of us are kind of like a finger. Not very big, and it would seem that they could manage without us, and they probably could, but if we are in there pulling our share of the load, the church perform at a higher level. Have yourselves a good Sunday mornin' and remember that you are an important part of His work.

That hits close to home, Shortgrass, only I'm just short a third of the same finger on my left hand. I sure miss it. :wink: What is even more amazing is how one little sticker from one little sandburr can plumb stop progress until it is found and eliminated.

With a team of horses, if one is slacking, a heavy load just doesn't get pulled.
