Just because the path is broad and well used, does not mean it is the right one. We often picture courage as something rare and heroic like risking your own safety to save someone you don't even know. An even rarer kind of courage is the kind of courage that you find down deep inside to stand alone for the values you cherish. The Lord admonished Joshua to be strong and courageous, not to be afraid or discouraged. Why? Because God was with him even when he felt all alone. Something to chew on for this week.
