I spend more time in the wheel chair an less time in bed with each passing day! In an effort to understand my feelings, anti express to others I found myself in the book of Job. Toward the end of the book Job is real clear that his experience has given him a clearer, though not yet clear, understanding of God. He says I used to think that I understood God, but who am I, that I should 2demand answers from Him. He is God, and it is I that stand accountable before Him, and He is accountable only to Himself. Job was clearly a much better person because of his hard experience. Now, my trial is not worthy to be compared to Job's. I am clear on that, but it is big to me.

The really big difference between Job and me is my friends. Job"s wife said " curse God and die.". My wife says let's just praise God and we , by His grace will be better for this trauma that has come upon us. My friends have never had any "helpful" tips on getting myself right with God so that He may bless me. Litterally hundreds of my friends have stepped up to help, encourage and most importantly pray for us.To all of you, family. and friends I tip my hat. Thanks is a powerful, yet pittifully inadequate word. Thanks is the word That most accuratlly describes
my feeling for all of you that have expressed your care toward us so .......THANK YOU!
So let us all praise God who loves and keeps us in the hollow of His hand'

Glad you are healing, and am glad you are back to posting "Good Sunday Mornings". I find it interesting in the number of Christian men, who have recently been humbled by either an accident, or disease. Sometimes we need to be humbled before the Lord, to see just how fortunate we really are.

We've all missed your Good Sunday morning's ! So one that is another good thing to come from your accident (at least for the rest of us). Glad you are doing better, continued prayers coming your way.

It's nice to see Good Sunday Mornin' back today, Shortgrass. Glad you are getting along so well, and that your faith in God hasn't been shaken, but is in fact stronger. Our time on earth is such a temporary deal at best. I am looking forward to riding a good horse in Heaven, through stirrup high grass, beside a rippling stream, and the best part is there will be no mosquitoes. :-)
