Good Sunday Mornin' folks. Last week I brought the cattle home from summer pasture. We want them close to home to better care for them as winter looms on the horizon. I have hay and range cubes stocked up, a good set of barns and protection and the cattle should fair very well through storms that will surely come. As I gathered them, there were those cows that didn't want to come through the gate, load on the truck, or cooperate, although I had their welfare in mind. As I feed them this winter, they won't make a connection between the recent events and their immediate need of feed, but I will cheerfully provide for them. So often, I know God has my best interest in mind, and is providing exactly what I need, but it may not be what I want at the moment. I don't trust Him, because I think I have this under control and things are going very well – thank you; I don't see the big picture, and am I fighting Him. God have patience with me; I know He sees things in my future I am oblivious to. He will provide in spite of my objections! What a loving, patient God we serve. Have a good Sunday mornin' and a great rest of the week.
