Good weekend

[Northern Rancher]

took Emily out west to a hockey tournament with our patched together team-we lost a top D-man for the year with a bruised kidney and our top scorer couldn't make it. We had a goalie playing wing and two forwards playing D-we lost the B final with a minute left in the game so the kids did good. Our little goalie got an apple playing forward survived a check from behind so he was pumped. I kicked the hooves on three chore teams on the way home-I'm craving a team something bad-checked out a team of fancy schmancy Clyde geldings-a team of Canadian/Morgan mares and a team of Percheron mares. Lucky I don't have money or I'd bought them all. The Can./Morgan mares look pretty easy going-not sure If I copuld keep those young Clydes reeled in lol.

What's Ty up to? Did he try Vermilion for the winter semester or is he working out?

Working at the yards now-doing deer mounts at night and heading into the bush to cut wood. I doubt he'll go back to school now till fall-if things work out he'll guide this spring then rodeo hard.Gonna ship some calves pretty soon too so he can clean up some stuff.
