I was just playing around on this. You can literally go to any place you want and see on earth and its the sattelite picture of the land. It was pretty cool. I dry lotted some heifers one summer and could litterally see them in the small lot, or i could count how many stacks or bales i had at the time. The coolest thing i found was in one of our fields though. I noticed that about half of the field was a darker color then the other. I could see some lines going down the field but took me forever to figure out what it was. Well sure enough i scrolled down the page a little bit and could see the tractor and air seeder sitting and then end of the field. Must have been quiting time. From my observations the picture must have been taking in june 2005 sometime. Type in earthgoogle.com and theres a free download. Check it out its pretty cool.

I agree I already have it on my desktop and it's great if you wanna see where places are if your doing some sort of history research...things like that.

I even found my home (farm) on there!
