I try to keep one of my small ponds nice so that we can picnic and just hang out with the grandkids.
Geese have been a real problem. Sic the dogs on them and after two or three times the geese figure out to just go to the middle till we leave then crap all over the nice grassy area we have.
I got to thinking ( I know stay with something I better equiped for ) and I strung a hot wire about 5" above the ground about 3' from the water.
Next day the goose population was about half / following day no geese!
Left the wire up about a week and took it down. Been about a month and the neighbors still have flocks of the pests but I'm goose free at that pond!
