Congrats to you all Denny!

It sure looks like your daughter has a full and successful life ahead of her! Wow, to own her own house before even graduating! Mighty impressive!

She looks very cute and bright in her FFA jacket. It is nice to see young folks sport them with pride.

Please give her our congrats!

Cheers---

We also raise butcher hogs they keep some cash flow flowing and I like them much more than sheep.I do like sheep just not very good at keeping them alive.

I just read Northerns thread on his daughter graduating...You guys have done good! I have a friend whose dauhter has also purchase a house as a Senior....Some pretty amazing kids out there.....

Some retty Ladies these two grads, a lot of it I bet comes from being really well rounded ladies who have been instilled with some pride of who they are,

Hmmmmm...I like Pork, but can't stand the raising of Pigs. I think it goes to my first experience with these critters. I was maybe 5 and just got a new straw cowboy hat I was proud of. Went to the nieghbors and we went to the barn. Some pigs chased us up the ladder and as I was climbing, the hat fell of. They devoured it, LOL....The squeal gets me as well,

We raise a few butcher hogs a year too Denny, some we sell, for a pretty penny into Chicago and we generally butcher one or two for the family as well.. One of these years we will do the pig on a spit thing, we have rentals for the equipment, folks who make them and all te lockers like doing the old kill and clean on hogs for them.. tis a tasty meal those hog roasts, my Dad used to donate one a year when I was a kid to our school auction, brought in a lot more money than it cost, lol...

As far as sheep.. Sometimes I swear they look for ways to die..Had a TINY lamb born twin to a huge one.. I fear I will be having a house lamb again, My daughter will be happy, lol.

Well I won't be afraid to get sick in Minnesota if that's the nurses you have there. Great job on a pretty and talented daughter-with her own real estate no less.

Contratulations to Callie. She is a pretty girl off to a great start already. You just can't beat having a wonderful occasion to celebrate and a hog roasting to feed the celebrants. Was there an apple in its mouth, and did you draw straws for the privilege of eating the eyes? :???:   :-)

We cut the head off it was to big for the spit with it on and it's a pain to deal with it anyhow.

Congratulations Callie!!!

What a wonderful celebration you put on for her. Wish her the best in nursing school and all she attempts in the future.

You must be awful proud...and rightfully so.

Beautiful cake too by the way. Almost too perdy to cut and eat. (Gave me ideas for Lil Lilly's when it comes time :D )

We have about a 150 of them right now they will be going to kill in the next month for the most part a few smaller ones will drag on a couple months.

My 7 year old son has been raiseing and selling butcher hogs now he want's some sheep so I would imagine he will be buying some.
