Oh but I am going to come up there with my remaining EXT semen and have a talk with your cows. Just the other day you were saying how good that one son was, you have to have some of those around just to remind you where you been and how long you been there. :oops:

I never saw the N-Bar blood as a bad thing at all in our herd. We didn't see much difference in the disposition when we started using their genetics. I think it was one of the single best things we ever did for our operation in fact. Calving ease, growth, etc. are great. I'm not saying our cows would come and use you for a back scratcher before we used their bulls, but they are not wild either. They are a lot better horseback than on foot, and are dang good mothers at calving. I like it that way.

Not that you are wrong either, just our experience.
 
Well I've had lots of Angus cattle and if EXT's would of been my first experience I would of never got any more-undoubtedly the most overrated little toad in the breed.

I would bet Gardiner's found it a Great Day too, when they started crossing their EXT cows with Precision 1680. :-) :-) I have a few EXT cows and I get along fine with mine. EXT was probably one of the top five Angus bulls of all time.

I got to thinking (which does'nt happen often) maybe those ext's would have been happier living south of the border.
