Tam and i took a little road trip out to see the Grandson. He will be 2 next week so we took out his new little Camo recliner just like Phil's on Duck Dynasty. :D He loves it. We also got to spend some quality time with him while his Mom and Dad worked their company booth at the home show.
The roads weren't that great on the way out but we got to stop in and have a great but short visit with Hillsdown. Very pretty part of the country she lives in and she was in the middle of calving getting a set of twins that morning.
Thanks for the coffee and snack s it hit the spot. :D
Saturday I dropped Tam and Colt off at the home show and met up with per and hayguy for a great lunch and visit. I think we cleaned the cafe out of coffee. Thank you guys for a great time. :D
The weather wasn't looking very good at home on Monday and a blizzard blew through and closed the road past the ranch. We waited until this morning and the roads were good just about all the way.
Man it will be good to sleep in my own bed tonight. :D

I don't do travel that well.

ps, per might have a picture to add to this.

Glad you had a good time, Big Muddy. We were thinking of you and Big Swede, both traveling and having fun while we were calving in the cold. Admittedly we're not too smart, but we're getting close to being half done. At least what sleep we've had has been in our own bed.

Interesting how Canadians willingly go north for a winter holiday. :D

Glad you had some good visits and a safe trip BMR and Tam. Our grandson was here for a visit this past weekend. He learned a new saying while here.

I taught him the bush wakeup call....... " Dad! It's daylight in the swamp!"

And I'm sure Dad was glad for the reminder . . .

You're a mean man, Gcreek!
