Great weekend!!!

Me too...

I was checking the website out... but didn't really like it and couldn't find much out. You must still be away with the sales and crappy roads! We find out today if we made playoffs but only six of our players are eligible for playoffs. I am a little scared if we do make it!

Hope ya do make it and hope you are one of the lucky 6!!!!! :D

I just got in-7 hours driving on glare ice not much fun. The girls lost out to Weyburn in the finals-had a bad first half and couldn't come back from it. Ty had an intertesting hockey game on Saturday-a NEAHL league team had been talking the talk about how they could beat us all year-we went there with 7 skaters and whipped them 11-1-Ty had 8 points-my cocoach said they deserved to get a score run up on them so he obliged them. I had a good weekend -bought some bulls on order and got the one I wanted for myself.

sorry to hear about your girls' team...but sure sounds like the rest of the weekend went just as planned (except, of course, for the nasty roads on the way home!) good job, ty!!!! a game well deserved in the win column!! :D

Those Weyburn girls have always been tough... Good to hear they made the final! Oh to be back in high school.... we play our first play off game on thursday but I am not sure we will beat this team we 6th them third... Oh well should be a good time!

I have heard that the roads are bad everywhere, every day I woke up the last week travel has been not recommended... hopin they clear up this coming weekend when we have to move my sister!

Northern Rancher,
You going to be coming back to Humboldt this year? Or is there an A bantom team in Meadow Lake? I'm playing FORMSURE next year!!! I played my last game as a rec player just two weeks ago. Time to play some good hockey and time to show them City Boys how to play some hockey, eh??!! :P :P :P :P :P  lol

Ty's next hockey is AAA tryouts in Swift Current next week-there is a single A team in Meadow as well as a AA team. Ty's first rodeo was this weekend and he rode good-covered his first bull plumb easy on Saturday then he drew the juice on Sunday and he bucked off at 7 seconds -got a dirty little belly roll threw at him-nice to hook up with our rodeo buddies again after the winter. My daughter Emily got 'Most Improved' player on her team at the yearend due this Saturday.

NR, watch out, cause theres a gonna be fun tryin to get the puck into the net with me between the posts!!! lol But you better watch out, and oh yeah, HUMBOLDT RULES!!

Whatever gets you through the day-sunshine lol.
Smoothe.....
But really, I was'nt supposed to play senior rec till this year, but i was playing the year that I was turning 10... so you guys are gonna have some fun tryin though.

Say good luck to Ty for me, eh?

Well just got home from the Swift Current AAA camp-Ty had a good weekend-scored a few goals and had some helpers-tried to knuckle it up with a guy but he wouldn't go with him-him and his two buddies both got invited back to the fall camp-he was playing against kids a couple years older and held his own-needs to work on his foot speed. I took in a Tarentaise sale and checked out my buddies cattle at Gull Lake. I hate to admit it but he's got an EXT son out of a 1418 daughtere that is a good rip-kind of has EXT's good traits but without the nutcase attitude and the small testicles.

good for TY, now are we going to have to start raising EXTs and shouting the praises to the EXT GODs? Heaven forbid

Yeah I hate to admit it but this EXT son actually might have some merit-he really nickled with that 1418 daughter. Think hockey might actually finally be done unless he takes in some more camps. Not sure if I'm ready to ship him off at 15 to play hockey but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

I'd say the majority of bulls traded in that 1800-2500 range-a young guy from Wood Mountain was windrowing a fair number of bulls so kept the sale going. The high selling commercial heifers brought 950-the purebreds were 1000 I think. Talk about good uddered cattle-hard not to like those little cows. Bryce sold a few straight Angus bulls also. The border being closed has hurt Bryce's deal quite a bit-in fact the last time I'd seen him we were both taking bulls south and we met at the border.
