I've been seeing that here for the last two days and when I go from one topic to another, my computer seems like it is acting up. And at times, when I type a line, no letters show up. Anyone else experiencing this?
Any suggestions? I restarted the computer but that didn't seem to make any difference. :???:

Also, for some time now, I've not been able to go back and add an emoticon at the end of a line I typed previously.....after I had typed another line. If I want to add an emotion to that earlier line, I have to cut the next line, add the emoticon and then paste the last line. Odd. Very. :?

What version of Windows you running?

With "7" and I get a glitch I go to recover and set my computer operating system back to a date when it was working OK.

Be sure and do a complete back-up tho'.

Don't ya woorrry there lassy! Look at the calendar and the closer St. Paddy's Day comes, the morrrre grrreen you'll be seein'!! You got a bit o' the Irish in ya, rrright lady? Consider it good luck!

It seems that a lot of people are having trouble with their computers. Viruses on top of viriuses. Mine hasn't worked right for the past six months. Have put 2 new hard drives in it in the past year. Now I have the windows 7 version in but I am still not satisfied in the way it works. Sometimes I think it may be my internet connection. When you get it all straightened out, let us know.

I had to take it in to be 'fixed.' They found it contained a lot of viruses'. I have free AVG and the tech said the free ones aren't good enough protection. He said currrently there are so many threats out there that it is hard for the antivirus to stay ahead of the threats. He is the second tech that has advised me to get Webroot. I have it on my PC, but not my laptop. Tomorrow I will buy it......I was glad to get my laptop back within 24 hours. :? One place was so busy they said it would take over 2 days to check it out...

Oh, and if you download another antivirus program, to be sure and get rid of the old one as they can 'fight' each other and allow threats to enter your computer. FWIW

do not let them put Norton on there....
I really like WebRoot. it has a tech program that is ran by the Geek Squad... call them up and get advice all the time.

One of the problems with Norton, AVG, etc is that when you update, or maybe I should say go from one year to the next or whatever, they don't delete themselves and soon you have a lot of antivirus in your computer and that isn't good. No, I won't use Norton. I will go buy WebRoot, as was advised and I will uninstall AVG. Thanks for the warning, jigs. Better to hear it twice as not at all. :D
