Sooo, I'm home for Spring break and mom and dad have determined to test my culinary talents. So the dinner of choice for Sunday dinner is grilled lamb chops and I am trying to find a side dish to go with it. Potatoes, salads, or rice?? I have no idea. If and when you guys fix lamb what is your preferred side dish and how do you prepare it?

Thanks!

praline pecans in mashed sweet potatoes, asparagus
or
corn bread and green beans
or
green salad and red potatoes
or
a long grain and wild rice pilaf , glazed carrots
or
fettuccine and Alfred sauce, green salad
or
garlic mashed poptoes and sliced tomatoes
or
butternut squash, green salad, home made hot rolls
or

any combination of above work

And if that does not work throw away the lamb and treat them to a good slab a beef :D

They turned out well. I rubbed them with garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Then to go with it I made a wild rice and white rice mix, that I added sauted mushrooms, green bell pepper, bacon, and spinach that I wilted down in some of the bacon grease. I grilled the chops then just threw them in a pan with a little bit of melted butter before we served them. They turned out great. Thanks for your input.
