So I finally decide to plow up a bunch of grass and dump some cows. Got the tractor out today to hook up to the plow which hasn't turned a furrow since 1994 or thereabouts.
Neither has my 1105 MF done much 3 point hitch work either. All it has done for a few years is run the baler or light drawbar work.
So I spend most of 2 days getting the 3 PtH freed up and the tractor serviced, change the worn out fan belts (great job on that one) and go to hook up to the plow.
Well the hitch goes up and down without a load but won't lift any weight. Kinda frustrating. But it is an old tractor, I guess, so troubles are no surprise.
It would just be kinda nice if the price of my product would justify driving something a bit newer . . . cattle prices are about the same, just a little bit more, as they were in the decade that this tractor was built.
So what does that tell you?
