Happy Birthday Wyoming Rancher

 Can't imagine anyone putting their birth date in their bio !

Hope you had a good time at the bull sale today. Let me know what you ended up with.

I stayed home and calved while Jim went to the sale. I'd gone down earlier in the month to see them, and find my picks. We ended up with two Mytty In Focus sons for the heifers, and four private treaty bulls. If you have Weaver's catalog, the sale bulls were lots 723 and 785.

Better go check on the heifers... this is just like unwrapping more birthday presents! :D I've had a couple heifer calves born today, which I'm sure are destined to become keepers  .

And yep Soap, only the best for my cows :D . I doubt I'll be posting pics of the barn later into calving though   .

Glad ya had a good day despite the frozen water problem..Ya know my son's birthday is in March right in the middle of calving and he always felt neglected cause we never could go anywhere or do much to celebrate his b-day...I'm thinking you're in the same boat..celebrating with a bunch of heifers each year on your b-day. I think you should pick a day after calving and have a mock b-day and go somewhere and celebrate! lol Course my b-day always falls around preg'n time....so maybe in the ranching world there is no such thing as "getting away" for your b-day! lol
