We sure tried to  .

Reminds me of how much fun my little girl had.. She keeps making us hide more eggs for her... She even got into the fridge and took some out and hide them herself for me and her mom to find... Oh the joy :D

evening, ranchmom!!! I hadda work the hospital on Easter, so my family and I all had the lovely privilege of celebrating today!!.....fixed ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, veggies and lit a nice little candle and dug out the "good dishes" Rain/snowed here all day, so that put the end to the hopes of the little ones of hunting eggs outside...that's okay, just put my imagination to good work and hid them inside while the demodriver took them to town for dessert!! :D :D

Ranch Wife That's great you were able to celebrate anyway...

We died eggs on Saturday, but they have already eaten most of the 4 dozen we kept at our house  (I can picture our house floating away soon in a wretched gas bubble lol) We did it all on Sunday, Mass, Eggs, Baskets, Turkey dinner, and all, Then they went to Grandma's and got more than the bunny gave em lol, Then Felicity's Godmother came and they got even more!!! Oh my, we have bedtime snacks for a looooong time  even if they are not so happy about us dumping it all together for that purpose.

Today we rode horse, goofed around, fenced, and I got my wimpy little skin sunburnt :x I always do that in the spring. It's not too bad should be ok.

Il. Rancher, I know she just jibber jabs but you know exactly what she was saying and she had so much fun, put on the dress and she just rubbed it and turned circles, she knows who the princess is.
When I emptied all the eggs today, she was going ape worried she was missing out on some candy. What will I do when she's 16?

hahahaha, got that covered already  been getting grays since college and the hair salon and I have a good fix for that

When my sister was your daughters age the dog had followed dad around when he hid the eggs so he showed where they were hid. Then the old hired man was upset cause she had eaten the last of the colored eggs and he wanted it.

Last year my daughter was two and it was all of the gibber jabber but she loved finding eggs back than too.. We have a dog that is a real egg addict. We couldn't figure out for a while why the chickens seemed to not be laying many eggs... At the same time the dogs coat was getting shinnier and shinnier... finnaly found her walking out of the coop with 3 eggs in her mouth... Oh well, we always had plenty for her too I guess

I remember those times. :D :D

Our daughter is now 16 and sonny boy is 24 - - - Last novenber he married his childhood sweetheart ( we have pictures of her at 11 months thorwing him to the ground to kiss him - - - he was 15 months and did not want anything to do with her) and while they plan on waiting a couple of years to have children my wife can't wait to be a grandmother.

My wife steals every baby she comes accross  - - - my daughter does a lot of baby sitting and when she baby sits at our house my wife just takes over.

I am looking forward to having the babies back - - I think being a grand father will be at least as fun as being a father. Spent the day yesterday shopping for bull dozers with sonny and for me it was better than anything else I could think of to do. :D :D :D

I know you love and cherish the kids - - - keep posting so we can all share the love.

Aww shucks, thanks guys, we think she's the best thing since sliced pie, but admit we are quite predjudiced.

BMR: That's one he** of a dog, remembering where the eggs were and showing her. That is hilarious.

Yes, we are having the time of our lives raising these wonderful, adorable, sweet, wretched brats.  (You realize they are mostly boys) When life sucks, you just have to look to them and it is all worth it and you hope everything will just turn out so they can do what they love too.
