Happy Fathers Day

Got the cutest card from #3 daughter who is off in college that sums our relationship up perfectly- the front read:

HAPPY FATHERS DAY

Whenever I needed LOVE you were there.

Whenever I needed UNDERSTANDING you were there.

Whenever I needed MONEY you were there....









Then you open it up and it says:



DAD- Where'd You Go?
 
My wife must have had some type of womens premonition of our hail storm- and the fact I definitely won't be haying for awhile...

For fathers day last night, her and the Grandkids gave me a new cooler- and in it were a 1/2 gallon of whiskey, 6 pack of mix, bag of cheetos, and one of those Popeil Pocket Fisherman they used to advertise on TV :shock:

I've been looking for one of those pocket fishermen for years-- thought it would be perfect to stick behind the pickup seat and some of those days when I got done working cows/farming early if I was near a fishing hole or creek I could just pull out the fisherman and the jug and kill the rest of the day.....
Every place I checked said they didn't make them anymore- but she said she found it in Williston a couple months back :D :D

Pretty good gifts OT !!! #3 son got me a tiny little remote control helicopter(you can fly it in the house), he torments the cat with it, #2 son got me a "Trailer Park Boys" DVD( a Canuckle-head classic), # 1 son is away working and probably forgot all about it(he is his father's son), and my bride got me some tack(a new girth and other goodies).
Pretty good haul!!!! :D
 
I spent fathers day driving back from Kentucky... Wait.. How did a 7 hour drive become my gift? Well, dropping the MIL off at her car and than driving the last 45 minutes till home was one heck of a gift if you ask me.. And today.. WEll shoot, we actually have been getting rain on and off again all day... I can't hardly believe my rain guage when it says 1 inch and it is even harder to believe the radar when it says we should get hit over and over again tonight... Might just get enough rain to almost catch us up for June... Now, if we could only catch up for May and April.
 
I spent my first Fathers Day with my family. We baptised our little guy, and we had a half inch of rain. It was a great day. The Good Lord does it right.
 
Spent the afternoon with Mr Lillys Dad....Roast Dinner :D Mr Lilly's Brother and his wife and kiddos were there.

Called my own Dad to wish him Happy Father's Day.

Then called friends that are Dad's to wish them Happy Father's Day.

And it rained off and on all day...........Total of 3 1/2 inches :D
