Hard feelings in South Dakota

Doesn't it seem a bit strange that anyone would not notice the license plates and the (probable) name on the trucks and observe the crew came from Canada? What sad example of lack of manners of too many people!

It's pretty apparent on this board that there are jerks on both sides of the border, though to the Canadians credit, they are under far more stress from problems they did not cause and could not do anything about re. BSE.

There but for the grace of God goes the US cattle producer. Maybe we (US cattle producers) should be doing a lot more of thanking God for our blessings and asking Him to bless our friends and neighbors to the north instead of adding insults to their injuries.

MRJ

This is directed to MRJ's post. First off Thank you for the words. I know that ppl from both sides of the fence have gotten ugly at times. To the point that all one feels is hatred....which we all know does nothing but grow.
I myself have come to the conclusion that it needs to taken with a grain of salt. That too is not always easy. Depending on how ones life is going at that point in time.
This is by no means a pity thing just one persons words/thoughts. During the whole BSE I have seen good men fall apart as well as their familes,
My husband could not understand why I would even come on this board teasingly (I think not always)saying going to chat with yer Rcalf buddies.
A sore spot which I can understand. I keep coming on here because I think I am learning sh*t about my husbands passion (cattle).
And hearing more then one side.Very important thinks I. I did have another point buuuutttt got side tracked. :?

Ever heard of Patriotism Haymaker . Pride in your country. NO I don't think the sacrifice the troops are making is the same as beef but what if they had shirts with the Stars and Stripes on it and were told they couldn't were it.
