ran several. Rowse is a good one, new holland is a cheaply built one that is getting traded as soon as possible. right now, I think H&S has the best wheel rake on the market. taller wheels, bigger tooth with less curve to it.
in my experiance, take that center kicker off and cut it up for junk iron.
had a rowse with one, and it just did not pan out like I thought it would. too slow. it was a 20 wheel rake and the center kicker should have been behind the rake as to put the wind row in a different spot.
if you have the time to spare, it is hard to beat a vermeer power rake, but the speed of a wheel rake is precious with the weather we have gotten lately.
