Nice pictures, Triangle Bar. Your countryside is green and pretty, and the hay looks thick and nutritious. Sorry about the tire. I had a big tractor tire go flat last winter when it ran over a little bitty deer antler.

Ever look into getting them tires filled with foam? Alot of the contractors down here do it just for the above obvious reasons.

Glad to see you getting your hay off.

Thanks, to all. Yes I'm thankful to have some meadow hay this year. This is the first year in the last 6 years or so of drought, that I've been able to put up some grass hay.

Bart, tell us more about this tire foam. It might be option to get a little more use out of some tires.

Thanks Jassy, I never do get tired of looking at the mountains!
We started out pretty dry but received good monsoon moisture and had adequate snowpack last winter for irrigation this summer. :-)

Tell us more Bart. What happens when it is wore out. Is is changeable or new rim time.

The rim is reusable, you have to cut the tire from the rim when it comes time to change it out.

It is generally expensive, however considering all the flats and side-wall cuts that are incured on jobsites with equipment operated by not so talented people, it saves alot of money and down time in the big picture of things.

As for cost, you would have to call and give your tire dealer the tire size, usually they do it right on your site, there is some cure time involved, IIRC something like 24 hours or so.
