THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL

CENTRAL WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT AS A STRONG DISTURBANCE MOVES THROUGH.
THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR AREAS MAINLY
ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE FROM ROUNDUP TO BILLINGS TO SHERIDAN
WYOMING. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE THE MAIN THREATS
IN THESE AREAS. AN ISOLATED TORNADO MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE EAST OF
A LINE FROM MILES CITY TO BROADUS.

we just got word from a lady that works in the sheriffs office via facebook, that she just got off the phone with weather service and was warned about 80 mph wind, damaging hail, and possible tornados from 4-midnight for all of harding co :???: . i'm not gonna lie, this has got me a bit nervous, and its not even here yet. some clouds building and thunder to the SW.

Yep-- looks like it has gone back to an easterly pattern- and the southern part of the state will get it again.....Rained off and on all night after midnight- and this morning...When I walked out of the courthouse this afternoon it had quit...
Town was packed with people- coffee shops, stores, waterhole-- everyone with a smile on their face after our million dollar rain....Last week there was only one or two outfits parked on main street- today you couldn't find a parking place- stores were full..
As of today- in the last week I've received 1.75 inches down on the river- and at the place 30 miles south of the border we almost got 2 inches...

You can almost watch the grass and wheat growing again...I was at the courthouse explaining to a young feller how I thought the wheat jumped 6 inches when one smart arse young ladyfriend walked by and asked " is that using a male standard of measurement"   I couldn't care- at least its growing.....

Looks like most of the severe stuff went east of us. We had .03 this morning to add to the .25 yesterday. That along with the .8 on July 3rd has the pastures looking much better. Before the rain we were better off than Oldtimers country.

sounds like dickinson got hammered. my wifes cousin's roof was torn of her apt. and horse trailer was detached from her pickup and was laying on its side up against a light pole. blew out all the windows on her pickup. sounds like a hell of a mess. we didn't hardly get a sprinke, which was good, it wasn't our turn. the first storm went south, the other went north.
