He said that he had to wait till 2:00 pm yesterday to have his treatment, the new machine went down, and wasn't ready to roll till then. (He usually goes in just before 11:00 am, and is out shortly after that.) Then he had to go see the doc, who gave him perscriptions for a steriod that he's got to take while he's having radiation, and for some nausea medicine. He said the nausea med works good!!! but the steroid made his left arm and hand go to sleep. He was going to give it one more try, and if it did it again, stop taking that one, till he sees the doc again tomorrow.
He sounded lots more "chipper" this time, than he has been sounding......maybe it was just the nausea that was making him sound so sad all the time.
They'll be home sometime tomorrow evening, then we have a full weekend planned from there. Got the 4-H BBQ on Sat. afternoon, wood hauling and getting ready to go back to the big city around that.......
