[Faster horses]

I'm glad you posted your pictures. I enjoyed them and I have a question and some comments.

Question first: Is that nice palamino horse a Morgan? Is that you on the horse?

Now for the comments. Our Okie buddy shoer was here yesterday and he had some pretty cool things to say about you. I value his opinion and he said you were real good with horses, and that if he needed a colt ridden, he'd sure send one to you.

And...he told a story about being somewhere and folks were giving you a little razzing about riding Morgans. Before the day was over, you took the bridle off your horse, did a nice spin both ways and loped off over the hill.

He said no one said a word about Morgans the rest of the day!!!!

Thought you might enjoy knowing what he had to say. I would, had it been me!!! Heck, I don't even know you and I like you already, just from what he related to us!

Well I'm humbled. That is my Tequlia in the pic and that is me on him. He is a half Morgan 7 yrs, I just love him, he is so smart and athletic. I was riding sale horses for G.Knight and bought his mom at a sale in Billings. She was a neat mare, but a handfull, he's a lot like her!! But he can walk a flat 12mph and that is worth a lot. I do ride a lot of colt's but I'm not the do all end all of colt starting, there are a lot better then me. It is a very big complement to me to hear the Oaky speak that way, he's a good hand himself.

This is a small world Heel Fly. I don't personally know you, but have been on the ranch that neighbors you that S's owned for years, and recently sold again. Also there was the Western Horseman article a few years back.

Now it all comes together for me.

Hard to get him talking, but once you do it is always very interesting.

Yea I FLUNKED. I looked as soon as I posted. Oh well It's getting late and it's been a long day. I was in meetings from 10am until 6pm. We came away with the feeling we got our points across and that is the best you can do when lobbing Gov. Things don't always go the way you want but we did have our say and they got the message loud and Clear.

I forgot to mention that that is my amazing hubby in the picture. My oldest sister and her twin girls helped also. It was a first for the girls, they learned a lot. I had them helping me vacc. they now understand more about vaccine then they ever wanted to know!! We used the Nordfork for those calves, I had to eat my words, the darn things are handy!!
Thanks for sharing what Jerry said. I've been walking in the clouds ever since. It's nice to hear good things from time to time! Hope some day we can meet, you sound like a great person that knows they're stuff!!
