Today is day 17 actual calendar calving, we have 35 heifers left from 152.

We are three days into our by the calendar and have about 7 out of 97. Terrible slow. we only bred for 30 days.

Everyone here I have talked to were slower to start this year. We were about 10% done on due day but haven't slacked off until today. 9 short of 500 tonight

Very slow calving up here too. several loses due to still birthing and some to weather south of me where the wind really howls in the Tanana delta region. I got two more to go
