Here are some pictures of some of the heifers, they have been on corn stalks since sept 7th.

Set up the portable corral so we can catch them and preg check in a couple weeks. But they think the bale is just for bedding. Checked the corn plants for nitrate. Also checked the protein it came back at 10.5% so the heifers are very content, even with the grain mostly cleaned up.

One of the better freeze brands

105 is the teachers pet. Will come up and lick you every time you check them.

My little solar set up for the charger.

What keeps the hfrs from chewing the wires on your solar set up?

Hfrs look to be doing fine. :D

That wasmy first thought too BMR, I leaned right in in disbelief when I saw that, but I think it's a fence charger and it's nice and safe behind a charged wire.

And I agree, the heifers appear satisfied and well cared for.

Guess I missed the wire. :D

Crystalix brand tubs. I like their bio tubs but these are cheaper. With the nutritional value of the corn they are using less than 10% of what they usually do
