we are in a winter storm warning, 5-8 inches. I don't know when the warning was issued, but it caught my off gaurd. I guess all we can do is B$#&@ and moan, and that's probably what i'll end up doing.

Good Grief FH, and I thought I'd get a decent night's sleep tonight!

Ho hum, another day, another ground blizzard :? . It snowed a couple of inches last night with a cold wind, but did manage to stay in the low 20's. More snow is coming in this morning and again tonite, with winds gusting to 40-50mph. I'm glad I've only got three left to calve. Just ready to get going on all the other outdoor stuff I'm WAYYYY behind on.

Mercy. So sorry about your weather. My cows went to summer pasture Thursday. see me dancing in little circles...happy happy joy joy!!!

Finally looking more like spring here- as the temp is 43 and we're getting little showers going thru....Not much moisture- but it is enough to get the ground wet and make mud on top....
At least the change in the barometer brought a few calves from the hanger on cows- and I had 3 calves to tag this morning...Only 5 left to go- but they could drag on til about the 10th of May....

The weather boys are predicting a chance of showers all week.... :D Don't have either the wheat or oats seeded- but thats fine- still plenty of time ...

Muddy here, light showers since last night, still have tire chains on two pickups....makes it soooo much easier to get around. Way behind on fencing and need to start branding. Did get yearlings worked two days ago. Have been really glad to have some good extra help this winter and into spring.

Pardon me....while I attend to my SUNBURN from our cloudless 88F degree weather....

Well, it sounds like Mexico is out, so I guess I'll tough it out here for a while. We got a couple of inches of snow the other day, and been ccool since. Green grass kinda stalled out a week ago. Supposed to get to 19C later this week so I'll chase that carrot for now.

We woke up to snow this mornin'! By noon it was sunny but a drizzling rain was falling. And tonight we had flurrys til around dusk when the skys cleared off and its 20 degrees and getting colder! Ya gotta love spring! :???:

We're back into the snow last night and today. Supposed to snow all day. I don't know if Mrs. Greg is getting this but it is heading OT's way.

Cleared up here yesterday, and ended up being a pretty nice day, although a bit chilly.Heavy sky again this morning, wish mother nature would make up her mind :x Women :lol2: :)
