Where were you and your dumprake when we needed you?
This meadow made 140 bales the last few years, 58 this year. We had lots of water on it this spring but I guess too cold and then too hot and dry. Next year......

I would rather have been dump raking then what I am doing.

My mother broke her hip on Wednesday and was taken by ambulance 60 miles to the hospital in Radville. Thrusday night a room opened up in Regina and she has been waiting since then for surgery. They kept bumping her doctor from the operating room but finally got her down for surgery around 2 pm today. Staurday. I just brought dad back to the hotel for a rest and had to check up on you guys. You know the mice will play when the cat's away.

us? you must have us confused with somebody else?! :o Tell your Mom to get better quick 'cause I'm sure you'll need a boot in the a$$ sooner than later!!!!!! :P

I just got into a meadow for next to free on the rent end the canary is chest high on me it's maybe 30 acres mowable and from what we've gotten baled so far its going to push 200 bales..

A bright spot in our hayfields this season. We will start chopping corn on thursday it look the best in years..

We can't complain too loud Denny, most of our ground has produced well. We are at our home place now and I guess the difference in elevation probably has a lot to do with it. There looks to be a good crop down on the Rez meadows to finish up on.

My wife want's me done haying bad but I figure when the snow flies I'll quit then. I've got my eye on a couple more pieces it will lack in quality but quanity is important with by-products and corn silage we can make some pretty tough hay work.

Kind of the same idea here. We have lots of good feed, just need some more volume to make it possible to keep our calves over again. Completion date on our new place being 2 weeks after we should have been haying there and an uncooperative vendor put us later than we could have been.
