you haying or building your shop?

Plugging along haying here. Pretty good tonnage but it seems to be taking awhile. Moved onto some easier cutting tonight more grass less alfalfa but should make nice hay.

Haying..... have 200 bales made now... last year we made the first 26 on Aug 2 so are ahead of the game ..for now. Forecast is scattered showers for the next week. Our Frenchman is raking and doing a little baling now. Friend from the Coast who helped in 2011 is showing up today for 3 weeks or so. Good average crop.

Oats could use some rain.

We hired a guy to put up the shop. It starts going up next Monday. Might be less computer time this winter if I learn to be creative.

I volunteered to go up and help Gcreek. But after learning what a fine hand the french guy is i decided i'd best stay here so i dont look bad. :shock:

I am not sure what Oui means burnt. Is that like a Canadian version of I owe You? :lol: :lol: The only french i learned came from Pepi-le-pew on loony tunes as a kid. "You hide, i seek". That was one of my best lines when i charmed Mrs. H.

But i promise to start learning french as soon as i figure out english. :wink:
