So far so good too. Lots of Limo's this year, which will do your heart good. :wink: :wink: Sure glad it's warmed up though, I'm getting weary taking twenty minutes to put on fifteen layers of clothes every time I go outside!
Looks like we'll be driving by your door with cows again this spring. Lined up a new pasture at Big Grass. I guess a few guys sold out their cows, and they have room for us now. Sounds pretty good so far. I won't mention names, but you know all the guys involved in the venture. The cows will have to learn to be cowboyed by horses now, instead of just hanging around with one. :cboy:
Looking for a heifer bull this year. We've decided to keep a few of our own. Got any leads?? We're not sure whether to go Limo or Gelbvieh.

Haven't got any leads on heifer bulls but March seems to be a good bull sale month. Some of the red heifers I bought have been spitting out red angus calves. On those cold days It was handy to be able to tuck them under yer arm and carry them to the barn to warm them up :lol: Got 25 new ones so far from the store bought cows. My girls don't get going for another two weeks. Had enough of the -30 weather ready for spring. Still feeding last years calves plus the backgrounders I bought. It was a nice treat to have calves born today in above freezing temps. I need a couple of bulls myself but gonna have to sell some critters around here first before I buy anymore :roll: Hows the new Guard Dog working out?

Dog's working just fine. 8) A little young to scare anyone yet, but I think she's got potential. Smart as a whip. She can open the kitchen door and let herself in. We've got to keep it locked all the time. :roll: :roll: :roll:
She's almost got those ears under control too! This is their progress as of two weeks ago. They've just about stood up now.
