Hey NMBound

Hey There!!
I haven't been able to get on here for awhile. I have been so busy cleaning out years worth of stuff getting ready for a possible move.
Family went and looked at the place we want to buy and fell in love with it. We thought about making an offer but we want to see it first. We have tons of pictures and the place needs alot of work but we aren't afraid of work.
I got a Colfax County fair book in the mail the other day and have really enjoyed looking at it. I loved looking at the Brands page! Are one of those yours?
I think we are going to stay at the Oasis there in Springer. Not sure which days yet, we have to be in Colorado on the 11th for the Select Longhorn sale. Do you know if there are any food places or stores of any kind near the Oasis? My daughter is coming with us and she wants to wait in Springer while we go to the sale. I was just wondering if there are places within walking distance of the motel. She kinda wants to check out the little town while we are in CO.
I'm thinking we will probably make it to the fair on Thursday. We have to meet with the realtor and Hubby has a Job interview in Raton so I think Thursday is the day that we can look around and go to the fair.

Sorry this I havent got back to you before now. I have been running like mad trying to get ready for the fair. Yeah one of those brands is mine.
If you stay at the Oasis she can check out Springer if she isnt afraid of walking a bit. Thursday at the fair is weigh in and in door exhibit entries in the morning and the hog show that night. Friday is the lamb/goat show in the am and the steer show in afternoon and the first rodeo performance that night. Course I wont get to watch much of the rodeo, because I get to make sure the sale bill is ready for Sat night and then pull cooking duty for the BBQ on Sat.

I am sending you a pm with some contact information but I should just tell you to watch for the blonde guy running around like a chicken with no head.
