My family and I attended our first hockey game last night. It was real exciting but I don't what the hell was going on. Not knowing the rules made it confusing but it was great entertainment. The Rapid City Rush was playing the Colorado Eagles and the Rush lost 4-1. Not even sure what level of hockey that is, but they were very talented. The fights were fun too. How many steps below the NHL would that be?

I somehow get the feeling on this chat site that the Toronto Maple Leafs aren't real popular, but I could be mistaken. By the way shouldn't they be called the Maple Leaves?

Ohh that's about five levels from the NHL-what league are they in? Your chances of getting to the show from there are pretty much slim and none-guys play there cause they love the game-you don't make alot of money. The rules of grammar don't cpount when naming hockey teams lol. The problem with the Leafs is they fill the stands win or lose.

I have always been a Maple Leafs fan. Those blue and white jerseys will always be special in my eyes, but I do not like the politics than seems to have taken over in professional hockey.

I should be watching the Canes because a local boy is now their backup goalie. Watch out for Justin Peters - he sure worked his way up there. I guess he kinda got the jitters the other night when playing Toronto because Legace left 3 in in the first period. Peters thought Manny Legace was gonna get pulled and Peters was gonna see his first NHL action against the Leafs, after just being called up to the big show.

I cannot imagine what that would feel like.

Somehow they managed a rare win tonight. Lower tier hockey is usually excellent entertainment. Same game as the show but comparatively in slow motion.
