Just so you know........................................................

What's Academics got to do with college sports?

haha, academic all american, do you need a definition, that would be someone that excells in both sports and academics, which would mean attending class, passing classes, etc., while playing excelling in sports, sometimes i think that is forgotten

lets take a look at the classes those boys took.... all American basket weaving is not that impressive

Poor K-St. can't get a break. They get whipped by the Huskers on the field and then they end up working for them the rest of their lives.

It would be interesting to see how many former SEC athletes end up in jail or working minimum wage jobs into their 40s. :p

Ok, this might be a sports board, but guess which school ranks #5 (behind Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Princeton & Duke) in the number of Rhodes, Marshall, Truman, Udall and Goldwater scholars? And it certainly ain't that school of Nowledge north of us! :D

Sandy....it is irrelevant how many wind up there in their 40's...cause most husker football players were recruited right out of the prisons....long list of violaters at kNowledge U.....

An equal list at K. St.....

pretty sure we can name a lot more from NU
johny rodger, the peters brothers, lawrence phillips, ndomincan suh, great sportsmen like scott frost and matt davidson....real gems there.

but I will grant you, NU has had a few good guys too...Turner Gill, Dean Steinkuhler, and a few more....

Dr. Tom , I think is a stand up guy...but bo is a dousche bag, and will not be at NU in 5 years...write it down.

The Peters brothers didn't do anything wrong. Suh did nothing wrong. Frost did nothing wrong. Davidson did nothing wrong.

You need to quit smoking that stuff that grows down by the creek.

Jigs how did you find them names, did you search national championship teams and just jot down a few names? :D
There is bound to be a few mishaps and misfits on any team, cant say its just nebraska.

every team has bad apples, but NU fans seems to ignore the ones they get...the peters boys were terrible.

might of had a bad life and been in trouble some, so tom osborne gave the kids a shot and turned there life into something. The world needs more good mentors like TO!
