Had the local Co-Op deliver some posts and wire for our little strip grazing expansion project last week. They set it all in the pasture just off the road about 60'. Every day I tried to rent the pounder in town it was booked or I got called out brand inspecting. Finally got all the stars aligned today and pounded my ends and corners. I went to get a roll of wire to string out for lining up the rest of the posts, and every last roll was stolen. There's truck tracks coming in off the road and back out again. Talk about pi$$ me off. $800 worth of hi-tensile, to say nothing for stopping my fencing project mid-day while I have equipment rented. And to top it off, it's my birthday today. I do believe I feel a whiskey coming on.

I wonder if they stole it to put up theirself, gotta laugh a little at a feller' that stole a fence building job.

Sorry for your loss, PC, is fence stealin' a hangable offense? Or do they make them did some postholes?

May you get the birthday gift of finding those SOB's! You are lucky that they didn't take the posts too.......have heard of several guys in the last couple of years that have lost their posts from the job site. It's a real PITA to have to have posts & wire delivered to the yard & haul them out as needed.

Well I did'nt take it. I'd have to be in the whiskey just useing the stuff I've got a couple rolls you can have.

man, that sucks..... but a blessing in disguise, no one ought to have to build fence on thier birthday....
