My dads first christmas tree was a tumbleweed decorated with macaroni! All they had in December of 1942! Just coming out of the depression.

Years ago, my father-in-law cut down a quaking asp and they used that for a Christmas Tree. Decorated it all up and everything. It was sooooo funny. I have a picture, I might take it in to be scanned and then I can share it. I don't have a scanner, so I'm up a creek.

Hey, maybe I could ask for one for Christmas...
