HOOOOOOOOOOOORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Thanks, words can not describe the admiration I have for these young men.

What is the old saying,
To err is human, to forgive is divine. neither is the Marine motto

This is sw's new marine, and I would like to thank you all for your support. Since all my new "brothers" cant be here I will thank you for them too! I would like to thank Nicky for all the letters I recieved through bootcamp, you were a big help! Thanks to my family most for teaching me how to cowboy up when I needed to :D

Absolutely incredible! Congratulations! You were out on Coronado Island weren't you? Cool bridge, huh?

No, he was in San Diego, California. The place you were thinking about was Parris Island, in South Carolina. The people east of the Mississippi River and the women go to Parris Island.

sw,

Congratulations and thank you for posting all the pictures especially the one of you and your son. He looks like a fine young man and one to be proud of.

It reminded me of attending a son's Navy graduation, many wet eyes when those boys sang!

Our marine used just that - Hanta Yo - for his battle cry. His co-marines gave him a bad time until he told them what it means....

I always wondered what significant meaning your name was. Would you like to share with us the meaning?

Hanta Yo, I can't tell you how much I hate to dispute anything you write, but was just there a month+ ago. There's a military base on the Island, and an old, really large, wooden motel. You've got to see it someday!

The military base on Coronado Island is the Coronado Naval Air Station. My daughter in law-in-law was stationed there for a couple of years.

The surprising thing is that still pay people that are stationed there!!

They ought to do it for free - wonderful place.
