COULD ANY OF YOU GUY GIVE ME AN IDEA WHAT HORSE PRICES ARE OUT THERE I AM SELLING THREE HORSES WELL BROKE AND HAVE WORKED AT THE LOCAL SALES BARN PENNING CATTLE. AND SOME PASTURE WORK. JUST CURIOUS I HAVE A BUYER FOR THEM AND HE SAYS HE IS SENDING THEM OUT TO ALBERTA SO I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE I AM NOT BEING ROOKED. IF YOU NEED TO KNOW HE OFFERED ME 3500.00 FOR THE LOT

Too little information. Are they papered, are they QH, Paint or something not very saleable? Big, small, roped off, penning prospects? Prices are down quite a bit, but good stuff still sells. I was at a sale end of July and good quality broke horses were anywhere from $1800 (well started performance prospect) to $5000 (good ranch horses). I've heard that some of the other annual sales in Saskatchewan were very soft, so you'd need to check with some of those people for more up to date info. Many of them have websites on northernhorse.com

I didnt know they had horses of ill reput up your way Northern :) I thought that was a BC thing :)

$3,500 on 3? That price is just right. Any higher and he might not pay it, any lower, and you couldn't stand to take it!
Seriously, that's rock bottom on horses like that. It took you a long time to "make" them, and replacements don't come cheap.
On the other hand, horses are low now, and feed is high, so if you will still have something left to ride,.....I'd take the offer.
