Horse Trailer recommendations

I'm in the market for a replacement horse trailer. Sold my old one cause it wasn't tall enough for my new draft horse. Ya'll got any recommendations on brands? I've been told to stay away from Ponderosa. Looking for a four horse stock style. I had a bumper pull before but might be persuaded to get a gooseneck. Just hate to take my camper top off the truck since I sometimes haul tools for work.

Talk Denny here on ranchers. He makes a nice one. Could probably make you one 7 ft tall.

Well I finally bought a trailer. After looking at a bunch of different trailers all over the area, I settled on a 1997 Sundowner Horizon II. It's a steel four horse slant load gooseneck with a small dressing room. 7' tall 6.5' wide. It has a little surface rust but looks well made to me. I was sold by the 18"oc angle iron undercarriage. Safety first ya know.

Anybody think I screwed up with my choice?

Works for me. But I would have checked with Denny first.
He makes a really stout trailer and they aren't hard on the checkbook.

Good luck with the Sundowner. I think they are pretty good trailers.
