We could use some more heat. It's a bit difficult to dry hay with highs of 14 celcius.

I cannot....let Mr. FH see your post. Just cannot. :D He can't do heat and
it's getting hot and dry here too. But what do we expect? It's late August.

He was mowing the lawn this evening and it now gets darker earlier, so he came in and said he needs head lights on the mower so he can mow when it's cooler outside.

I was putting in fence on Saturday and within 5 minutes it was as if I had jumped in the lake with my clothes on. The temps were in the mid 90's but the humidity was close to 100% if not more. It felt like working in a sauna.

Ya the humidity is what gets you.

We actually had fairly high humidity for the early part of the summer but it's better now. :-)

We have a log house and no air conditioning. The logs soak up the heat all day long and it radiates off them all night its been tough sleeping the last 2 evenings. As Mr. Faster Horses I don't do heat well either.

How's your corn this year Denny? Is it behind like they all say or doing good?

We had a couple weeks there the last few days in July and first in August that were unusually cool. High in the 70's. we had caught quite a few rains in that time. But were back to normal now highs upper 90's to lower triple didgets with no chance of rain. Wind has been blowing 20-30 for the last three days, wich probly does more damage than anything.

Yep- supposed to be 90-100 all next week...The combiners are really loving it... So are all the Fort Pecker boater folks- that didn't get much summer fun this year with all the cool weather, rain, and storms...
And this lower humidity sure is nicer for my arthritis...

Its been hot here too. upper 90's low 100's. But last night we got .40 of rain. Sure is nice to have this time of the year.

I got it in late due to mud and the last rain it had was July 13th lets just say my chopper will sit idle this year.
