How cold is it?

Not so cold here anymore - -13C/9F, but the wind seems to be intent on sticking around for a while longer. That's a bit unusual for us since we tend to get storms blow in off Lake Huron and dump snow on us but then it mostly dies down for a few days.

Oh well there's hay in the barn, silage on the pile, firewood in the basement and food on the table so we're good for a while yet.

Shoulda mentioned that it was so cold that when I let the dog out, she didn't want to squat to pee... :?

Not sure how you would go about figuring that one out!
 
It's so cold that we had to use plastic forks at suppertime cuz the metal ones were freezing to our lips...

And then it got even colder and Grandpa's teeth started chattering - in the glass beside his bed!! :o :D

True story;

The ranch I was working on in Colorado had a three legged Border Collie named "Lucky". He lost one of his hind legs falling off the back of a pick up.

Anyway, whenever he was out and about marking his territory, he would lift his remaining hind leg and do his peeing wilst doing a hand stand.

Talented dog Lucky was.
