I use to get the shot every year. I was on the top of the list with Asthma. I would spend a good amount of time in and out of the Drs office with asthma attacks. The last couple years I didnt get one and I didnt get sick. Since moving away from the Big City I dont have as much trouble with my asthma. I will say in the past year I have had 3 attacks and those could have been avoided.
If your getting the shots and they work, KEEP taking them. Why change something that is still working. If things change then either stop or start taking them. Samething we do with treating calves/cattle
