how far are you from a McDonalds?

McDonald's is about 18 miles from the ranch. I go there and buy a happy meal either for a girl or boy and save the toys for my friend's children. They have good toys in those things. I just keep them in a pocket in my truck and pull one out at the most opportune time when I am talking with a friend with a child. (I ask first.) It's the little things that matter the most with those little buggers.

I have to laugh about the happy meal toys. A friend was here yesterday to help round up and got telling us about his neighbors girls had got this talking Hippo in a happy meal. Well they had been over at his house and slipped it into his coat pockets. One day putting on his coat it did it's little spiel and he jumped wondering what the hack that was. It happened a couple of times before he figured out that it was coming from his coat pocket. He took it out and put it in his wife coat. Scared the crap out of her as she thought she was alone in the house when she put her coat on.

I guess the little girls that started it were just killing themselves with suspense waiting for them to find it.

We are 75 miles from McDonalds and that's in Miles City.
We eat there from time to time. I enjoy their $1.00 burgers
or $1.25 cheeseburgers. I don't need a HUGE hamburger.

Our friend in Oklahoma says the drive-ins there are also
manned by 'foreigners' that cant' speak English very well and it's
quite difficult trying to place your order.

Bout 15 miles, go a little further is Sonic, little further is a BK, and across the street is a Wendy's
Cannot remember the Last time i ate at McDonalds,

Guess I'm about 30 miles from a big mack but have never eaten a McDonald's burger. I have eaten a few of their sausage, egg, biscuit breakfasts tho.

70 miles to McD's. I like their breakfast menu best. Same town also has BK, DQ, Pizza Hut, Pizza Ranch, Subway, and Taco Johns. Gotta go another 30 miles to find a Wendy's in addition to more of these.

65 to the nearest mcd's, 65 to an A&W/KFC and a million miles to the nearest Red Lobster (or 200 to billings....which ever is closer)!!! Have an Outback only 65 miles away....hmmmm...getting the munchies!!

You're missing out, A&W makes good burgers.

i'll keep that in mind.

FH-is there an A&W anywhere around here?

Webster, South Dakota

Justin I'd wait until you went to Canada to try A&W, the ones in the States are yuck, same goes for Dairy Queen compared to Canadian ones

I saw more A&W in Canada than I've seen in the USA in years...
and yet, now that I think about it, the first drive in restaurant in
Buffalo, Wyoming was an A&W. So what happened that there are
more in Canada?

Did they serve Dino ribs like on the Flintstones?
