a fivesome eh? Yikes, poor old girl... Most we ever had were Quads and I don't like it when that happens, triplets seem hard enough on the old girls.. God knows we are bottleing 3 goat kids right now because one mom couldn't get up after her triplets and the other only loves 1 of her babies.. At least we got one grafted.. The other 3 are just.. well, dumb I guess, lol.

shes taking care of them so far! (Knock on wood) We had a ewe that lambed lastnight, 3 were died and the live ones in the house, she looked like she was gunna die. She was lying on her side last night all streched out, went to go check on her this morning she was gone, there she is standing with her head in a bucket of grain,in the barn, she had to get up, walk 50 feet, jump a fence. wade through mud to get there, so much for her dieing!

the first one who had triplets needed help getting up for about 2 weeks before kidding and the kids where really beat up when they came out.. Couldn't stand worth anything for a week.. I am not happy that she had the problems but I am a bit more sympathetic to her than the other one who is fine, producing gobs of milk but will not nurse two of three kids... She is getting milked right now by the gal who owns her and is moving into our other house... Good news is we are getting plenty of milk for the other bottle baby, bad news is if I was in charge of her she would be getting shipped but alas, I am not.

five lambs that sure is a coincidence because a farmer down the road from us had five lambs with an older ewe they seem to be okay even go their picture in the paper alerting the country side that spring was here

haha mom gave me heck, cuz it sounds like I just throw the ewes out after they lamb, if they make it they make it, thats not true, we check them to make sure everythings all good. And if the lambs needs some help we will help them. lol
