...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT
TUESDAY...

* IMPACTS...Heavy, wet snow will make travel conditions difficult
with poor visibility and roads becoming slushy or snow covered.
Downed tree branches and power outages are possible. Young
livestock may be at risk.

* TIMING...Rain will develop this evening and change to wet
snow overnight. The wet snow will continue through early
Tuesday afternoon.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...3 to 6 inches, with heavier amounts possible
on ridges and higher hills. Greatest amounts will fall south of
Crow Agency, Lame Deer, Broadus and Ekalaka.

* WINDS...Northeast 10 to 20 mph will reduce visibility and
produce cold wind chills.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory can be issued for a variety of winter
weather conditions such as light snow...blowing snow...sleet...
freezing rain...and extreme wind chills.
