Hubby's Radiation Treatment @ UNMH Cancer Center

I talked to UNMH Cancer Center yesterday, and it looks like they're going to schedule Hubby's radiation to start the first week of September. The new "state of the art" machine should be set up and ready to go by then.

So, looks like Kit will be here for the duration of it (he called this morning, but only had 5 minutes left on his calling card). He's got a ticket from Argentina for Sept. 1, to El Paso, but is going to try to get that changed to Albuquerque. Don't know if that's going to be such a good idea, now.......Albuquerque is quite a bit further than El Paso...

And............Hubby will get to be here for our fair, to see Al show all his critters, etc!

Ranchy---are they gonna be using the latest in radiation, the "cyberknife"? they have one in Great Falls and say it is simply remarkable in it's ability to get to the tumor, even one buried inside of another organ, without harming the surrounding tissue!!! Anyway, know that all our prayers and best wishes go with you and your family in this journey!! :wink:
