V_Key, we all know there are good people in all states......just as there are some pretty strange ones!.

California being a very populous state, and sensationalism getting the press coverage, isn't it logical that what the rest of the country sees/hears about Calfornians makes it appear the it truly is the "Land of Fruits and Nuts", as some of your closer neighbors have reported it to me?

I do appreciate and enjoy your posts, but believe you over-reacted a bit there!

Re. the Humane Society, Peta, and their friends and accomplices......make no mistake, there intention is absolute protection of all animals from human use in any form.......be it as pets, food, clothing, or us stopping predators from eating "our" domestic animals. Some go so far as to say humans have no right to life over animals.

It is apparent they are willing to chip away, one event at a time. Preventing and outlawing each "inhumane" hunting event just gives them greater encouragement to go after the next one.

I don't get my nose out of joint when South Dakota is denigrated for sending a flaming liberal politician like Daschle because, since I didn't vote for him and refuse to take any responsibility for sending him to Washington, I have to agree with that statement.
