the first 3 games of the season? I can see starting out with one warm-up before conference play, but 3 in a row?

At least K-State played a Div-1 team in week one.

Chattanooga? Is that a school or the guys at the rail yard?

Therev are 3 SEC games on ESPN right now as I write this, plus the feature game on Thursday night must tell you something?

Mike, stop showing your ignorance...the real power conference is the big ten of next year, they just added the historic and formerly relevant huskers....they went to the big ten cause there is no orange team there to whip them year in and year out

Will they then be the Big 11? Who will whip them up there? Iowa? Ohio State? Michigan? Penn State? or all of the above?

I see the Huskers beat the mighty IDA-HO'S today. How did K-State do?

Nevermind, I see it.

rumor has it, the fair and welcoming Big Ten divided into divisions, put NU in the tougher side, and did not even invite NU to the meetings when deciding such moves....

gonna be funny to see NU go 8-3 or 7-4 year in and year out....

Turner and KU got JawJaw Tech yesterday. Pretty good after last week, huh?

It's nice to know that KU is in good hands, and the Mildcats will be beaten on a regular basis by a team coached by a disciple of Tom Osborne, which makes every KU win twice as sweet. Whether 'Braska has limited success, or great success in the Big 10, there will always be a taste of Nebraska in the Big 12 with Turner on the job.

Last week when I watched the Mildcats on the teebee, the announcers kept referring to Bill Snyder as "legendary". The only place I could figure that Bill Snyder was a legend was in his own mind.....No National Championship ring(s).......If TO was to wear all his rings, he wouldn't have enough fingers and toes for them all.

Snyder is a football coaching legend just like Bill and Randy Mulkey were pro wrestling legends......

It was good to see Notre Lame get beat yesterday, too!

Yeah, it tells me that there are a lot of TV sets in SEC land.

It would be funny if you would actually put up some cash to back your predictions.

to deny that Snyder is a legend is pure ignorance. he took the WORST team in football, and in ten years had them ranked #1 in the polls. if Bishop would have not been fighting for more yards, we would have gotten that title shot...but oh well.

TO could have NEVER done what Snyder has done, and he even admits it.

TO is just a dang nice guy. Him saying that he couldn't do what Snyder did is like telling a kid that you really like the picture they drew where the horse looks more like a sunflower. He's got 3 National Championships as head coach, 2 more as an assistant - Snyder has, what, 1 conf. championship in a generation at K-ST.? Throw old alum-ash a bone and make him feel good....

I don't know I would call them cupcake team with five BCS teams going down to FCS teams just this weekend.

1) Ole Miss, SEC (Jacksonville State 49-48, 2 OT)
2) Kansas, Big 12 (NDSU 6-3)
3) Akron, Mid-American (Gardner-Webb 38-37, OT)
4) Minnesota, Big 10 (South Dakota 41-38
5) #13 Virginia Tech, ACC (James Madison 21-16)

Maybe KSU will be next to this list????????

highly doubt it...I think we will be undefeated heading into the Thursday night game with the yellow bellied losers from Lincoln.

Nebraska's decision had little, if anything, to do with football or any other sport. Not that I expect you to listen to reason, but Nebraska went to the Big Ten for two reasons: money and stability. If they never win a Big Ten championship, they'll still be better off than they were in the Big 12. Rest assured if KSU were invited to join the Big Ten they'd be gone in a heartbeat.

give it 5 years, then see if the love fest for adding the fuskers to the big 11 is still going...the self proclaimed greatest fans will show thier true colors soon enough, and you will see why we are not so upset to see them go.
